Monday Mix!

We’re kicking off the new year with a new Monday Mix. This is two in 1! We’re combining longsword and katana into one exciting class. Both of these styles are a great introduction into two handed weapons work.  This class is a fantastic way to dip your toes into stage combat or brush up/catch up on some skills that you might be missing out on. This is a technique class, so we’ll be focusing on elevating your current skills or building new ones by setting a solid foundation! If there is enough interest, this class can culminate in an adjudication.

Pay What You Can

Ah, the ever-present ethical business balancing act of keeping a company afloat while opening our doors to every student we can.  As part of our efforts towards continued accessibility and community growth, we've decided to offer a sliding scale pricing system.  Please note, you will be attending the same class regardless of the pricing tier you choose.  We ask that students choose the highest cost plan that their circumstances allow (which may change season to season!) as it allows Arte Violenta to sustain itself as well as offer financial assistance to other students.  We also ask that you take that financial assistance as needed, because we never want someone to walk away from training because of financial barriers!  Pink and Yellow plans will be capped at X and Y respectively on a first-come first-serve basis.   If none of these rates are accessible, email us for work-study opportunities.

Low          $360

Middle     $460

High         $560

We offer this because we want everybody to be able to learn how to stage combat, share love of what we can do, accessibility and offering, limited supply available

This is our normal rate, average cost to offer the class while allowing us to pay our staff fairly, lowest while being sustainable

If you can do this this will allow us to offer more scholarship opportunities to other people, that would be nice, this is a gift not a requirement
